Fiber Friendly Feeds

Hoffman's Horse Products are a line of fiber friendly feeds that have been designed with specific high quality ingredients using nutritional technology, which allow the horses system to utilize the full potential of the nutrients from not just the ration, but the forages that are being fed to the horse on farm

Low NSC Feeds

Hoffman's Horse rations are designed to have a low sugar and starch level (NSC level). Besides our Textured ration, Hoffman's Horse rations have no sugars, grains, or any other starches added. 

Fat-Based Energy Sources/Cool Energy 

Hoffman's Horse rations use fat as their energy source, mainly in the form of steel cut flax, rice bran, and canola oil. By using fat as the energy source it gives your horse a long-lasting, cool energy, this allows your horse to perform with a more collected mind. 

Fat Digestion Aids

All Hoffman's Horse Rations with higher fat levels (greater than 4% total) will have fat digestion aids built into the feed to enhance fat absorbtion and digestion. This aid is called phosphatdyl-choline and allows the horse to get the nutritional benefits of the fat right away. 

B Vitamins

All feeds will have all B-vitamins added. Even though the feeds are developed to maximize microbial synthesis of these vitamins, we add in significant levels of such critical B-vitamins, such as biotin for hoof building. 

ZinPro® Complexed Minerals

These trace minerals (cobalt, copper, manganese, and zinc) are added into Hoffman's Horse Products because they make the minerals more biologically avaliable to the horse. High levels of minerals that interfere with absorption of regular trace minerals do not affect the ZinPro® complexed minerals. An example would be high leels of iron found in many hay samples. 

Organic Selenium

A portion of the selenium in all Hoffman's Horse Products contain organic selenium from Diamond V®. This is to ensure better absorption of selenium and much better utilization within the body.

TruEquine™ Postbiotic

TruEquine™ Postbiotic is a natural horse feed additive back by nearly 80 years of research. TruEquine™ works with the biology of the horse to support optimal digestive function in all horses, immune system strength, and can lead to proper joint support, gut health, and stress management. Made through a natural fermentation process that helps ensure that nothing is lost when added to feeds, TruEquine™ Postbiotic continues to be the leader in the equine healthy and nutrition space. 

Amino Acids

Amino acids are added to most of the Hoffman's Horse Rations to keep the crude protein levels low while providing the essential building blocks of the protein to be adequate for the performance desired. This allows for a well balanced, high quality protein. 

Magnesium Chelate

This magnesium chelate used in Hoffman's rations allows for greater absorption of magnesium into the horses system.
